I am pleased to announce that I've been granted a studio residency at Little Paper Planes within Minnesota Street Project's Studios! I will be found there for the month of June 2018, often reading out loud. Please check back for an announcement about an RSVP-only exhibition at the end of June.

For the month of April 2018, I will be working on a four-channel video called barbershop quartet while in residence at Vermont Studio Center. This is part of a larger project called silicon masc, both focusing on speech, song, voice, silence, and aesthetic vocabularies of gender performance. Through it, I am processing the silent-text-screen of meme culture and my earliest drag experience as a 2nd-grade “girl” who wanted to be John Travolta as he sang Greased Lightening.
